Licensing Requirements for the State of Nevada

Low-Voltage/Limited-Energy License: A statewide license is needed to do low-voltage work in Nevada.

Low Voltage Specialty Licenses:
Electrical Wiring C-2a
Fire Detection C-2c
Low-Voltage Systems C-2d
Lines to Transmit Electricity C-2e
Fire Alarms C-41c

Electrician: A statewide electrician license is required.

Electrical Contractor: A statewide electrical contractors license is required.

Reciprocity with states: Nevada has limited reciprocity agreements with AZ, CA and UT pertaining to trade examination requirements only. All other requirements must be met.
