Electrician: An Electrician license is required.

Electrical Contractor: A statewide electrical contractors license.

Additional Information:
A license is required for installation of a security system. A license is also required in many local jurisdictions.

The low voltage communication system classification requires 2 yrs verifiable trade experience, a business mgmt & trade exam.

NOTE: There are monitoring licensing requirements for some cities.
