Help Help with Moose z1100

The police AUX 1 light blinking. Powering off and on only sends it into alarm. Now I lost my PAC and can't do anything with it. Help.

You're going to need your PAC to reset this alarm. Somehow you've triggered your Panic alarm.

Help Re: Help with Moose z1100

I reset my PAC today but can't reset the panic. If I turn off the power and turn it on, it goes straight into Alarm and I have to enter the PAC to quiet it. Then the Interior Off (police) light blinks but the the system will arm and work normal. How do I reset the panic?

Do you have a hardwired panic button somewhere?

No hardwire panic button. Do have a remote panic. Looks like a garage door opener. I think this was triggered by holding the 1 & 3 buttons. Hope this helps.

If you arm and then disarm the system and your POLICE light continues to blink, you have either:
1. Shorted wiring to the portable panic receiver.
2. A bad portable panic receiver.
3. A bad control panel.

Sparky49. Thanks for all the help so far.

I checked what I thought would be the add on remote panic button inside the alarm box, only to realize the add on had to do with voice alarm that goes off prior to the siren. Do you know where in the box, the remote panic reciever would be wired?

I tried the panic button and it didn't work so my thought is the problem is there not in the board. If I could just disconnect this from the system the problem would go away right? We don't use the panic button anyway.

It would normally be mounted outside of the box so that there would be no interference with radio reception. If it's not located near the main panel, I would look in your crawl space. This is just a guess, but it will probably say Linear on it.

Thanks Sparky49. Must be in the attic. This is my dad's alarm, so I'll check next time I go over and let you know. Again thanks for all your help.
