Question Jacksonville Low Voltage Permit Question

I have a couple calls into the Jacksonville, Florida permit office to ask a question about low voltage permits and I have gotten no response. We have a client who is going to be pulling some low voltage Siamese cables (10 total) at a business in Jacksonville in a couple weeks for a CCTV installation. The site superintendent said they would not have to pull a low voltage permit for this job. Does anyone have any idea if they do have to pull a low voltage permit for a job like this one?

They should not need a permit in Jacksonville for low voltage as long as it does not go over 98 volts or does not include security or fire. They must have a low voltage Florida licensed however.

As of right now, only a state license is required but a local LV permit is coming. I've been to several meetings with the city & have been in contact with the Chief Building Inspector, they're working on it now & it will be inspected along with the electric wiring.

In Mass we need a permit (electrical) to pull or install any cables.
